Reports of Injuries in NYC Nightclub Shooting

The incident occurred just hours after the New Orleans terrorist attack and Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas

A shooting took place outside the Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York, on Wednesday evening, as reported by various media outlets citing witnesses and officials. Sources indicated that at least 11 individuals were injured in the incident. The New York Post reported that the victims were taken to nearby hospitals, and all are expected to recover, with none in critical condition.

The Amazura, a popular venue capable of holding up to 4,000 people, is known for hosting DJs and live performances. Following the incident, a large number of police and emergency vehicles were seen outside the club.

As of now, the reason for the shooting is still unclear, and no suspects have been apprehended. It is believed that those responsible fled the scene, leading to an active search. The Queens Police Department is anticipated to share additional information during an upcoming press briefing.

Earlier on Wednesday, the US witnessed two significant incidents – a terrorist attack in New Orleans and an explosion involving a Tesla Cybertruck in Las Vegas.

In the early morning of New Year’s Day, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old U.S. Army veteran from Texas, drove a rented Ford F-150 Lightning pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans’ French Quarter. The incident left 15 people dead and more than 35 injured. After the crash, Jabbar got out of the vehicle and exchanged gunfire with police, who ultimately shot and killed him. Authorities found an Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) flag in his truck and explosives at the scene, prompting the FBI to treat the event as a terrorist attack.
